Filament reduces optical network costs by using just one fiber for 100Base transmission. Designed in an industry standard MSA compliant SFF package, Filament is a low cost alternative to duplex transceivers.

Conformal coating and MIL 883 tested, Filament is ideal for harsh environments where connector costs can be extreme. SC connector is standard with an LC connector option due in the late summer of 2007. For thermal sensitive enviroments, Filament Cool offers a very low thermal rise. For faster network requirements, a one gigabit version is available.

Standard link budget is 25 dB offering up to 50 KM on single mode and a few hundred meters on multimode fiber.
