Filament 1G reduces optical network costs by using just one fiber for 1000Base transmission. Designed in an industry standard MSA compliant SFF package, Filament is a low cost alternative to duplex transceivers.

Conformal coating and MIL 883 tested, Filament is ideal for harsh environments where connector costs can be extreme. SC connector is standard with an LC connector option due in the late summer of 2007. For thermal sensitive enviroments, Filament Cool offers a very low thermal rise.

Standard link budget is 12.5 dB offering up to 25KM on single mode and a few hundred meters on multimode fiber.
