OptoLink Mobile is a reliable and compact media converter designed to connect network equipment to test equipment. It's built-in, hard wired conversion goes from 100BaseT copper to 100BaseFX fiber with virtually no latency. Unique among media converters, OptoLink Mobile features Power Over Ethernet on the copper side as an 802.3af client. As opposed to being an injector or handing off power through a breakout cable system, OptoLink Mobile can be placed at a fiber optic network point and convert to copper where Power Over Ethernet switches are located in a test area up to 100 meters away.
