Optofy is a modular architecture test platform that connects to our OptoTrek test board or used directly with a PC. Base Module Boards provide an interface to optical components used in today’s leading network equipment such as optical switches, Variable Optical Attenuators, and In-Line Power Monitors. Rather than buy separate standalone expensive optical test devices or even chassis based systems, Optofy offers a cost effective and still highly accurate way to test optical links. Optofy features a USB to Serial interface to a PC with firmware operated commands as well as a Windows based application. Switches, VOAs, and IPMs are expected to ship in Q4 of 2008.
