OptoLink 1G
4 and 24 are advanced media converters for converting 1000BaseT
copper links to 1000BaseX single or dual fiber runs using pluggable
transceivers. OptoLink 1G includes a CDM or Communications Diagnostics
Module to monitor and control the copper to fiber conversion and
report on the Serial ID information stored in the transceiver. Not
all SFPs include a Serial ID, contact COTSWORKS for a list of compatible
products.
OptoLink 1G is an Ethernet only media
converter. There is no switch fabric connecting each of the ports.
The latency of the conversion is the nano-microsecond range. |
